We recently had the pleasure of helping a really great couple finish their stalled bathroom renovation. Materials already chosen, plumbing already roughed in, electrical done, and even half of the square floor tiles were laid and grouted.
It was time for the fun part; a curved mosaic wall with matching niches, river rock flowing into an infinity drain, and a backdrop of brushed linear tile to set the tone.
We decided to step it up by “scribing” the stones right into the floor tile, giving it a flowing transition between the two floors. Definitely some extra time on the saw, but the results are so worth the effort.
